What if a job I am interested in is not posted?
As your contract representatives, we will work hard to get you into the areas that you would like to travel in.  It is not always possible to place you through our agency  in the region that you wish to have your next contract in.  However, we will be thorough in our efforts to get you in.  We will provide complete data to you with the responses from the facilities in the area.  We are very honest in our findings and if we cannot put you there, we will try to find out which agency can.
Please allow us 4 business days to obtain area information if it is not posted on our website.

What if I was interested in a job and it is no longer posted?
Check with your Regional Operations Manager.    Our Jobs are updated every 24 hours.  There are times that they take down a contract one day and repost it the next.

Why is the job posted but no longer available?
Our jobs are updated every 24 hours.  However, the facilities may not inform us if they have filled or cancelled the position.  There are many facilities that only provide updates once a week to us as to whether that contract was filled or they have new needs.  When you alert your Regional Operations Manager that you are interested in submitting your information for a specific contract, the manager will verify that it is still available.    It is rare when the position is not available, but at times it may happen.

What if the contract I desire requires a new state license, will I be reimbursed?
As an independent contractor the federal regulations are very specific that you must provide your own tools and means to obtain the job.  You must provide all of the qualifications, transporations and means of taking the job.  We cannot reimburse you for licensure.    This is a cost incurred for "conducting business".

Why doesn't R Visions provide housing?
As your contract representative, we are your "marketers to get you in the door".  We are not your employer and cannot by federal regulations provided benefits, housing, or the tools to do your job.  If a facility offers housing as part of their package, then housing can be provided.    We  will assist you to find housing in the area.  We will  provide you with the options we have found and then it is up to  you to make the decision as to  what type you will choose.  After the initial search, we step out of the picture and let you take care of the details.

What if I have to cancel a contract?
There are many repercussions to cancelling a contract.  We highly recommend finishing all commitments.  Many of the contracts that we have are through "Vendor Managers".  The Vendor Managers provide a barrier between the facility and the numerous agencies they need to pull from to fill their needs.  The Vendor Managers have facilities nationwide.  Some of our VM's will add you to their "no contract" list and you will be banned from any of their facilities in the nation regardless of the reason.    Some of our VM's rate each contractor based on their performance and will list each early cancellation, backout, or no show.    This can limit your possibility of another contract very quickly.  We will try to do whatever we can to help you in a crisis situation to fulfill your contractual obligation.    We may be able to get a period of time covered for you or some time off for you to attend to your situation.  Many facilities are willing to extend your contract on the end to accomodate for crisis situations.

Can a facility cancel my contract?
Yes they can.  Although it seems quite unfair that you are unable to cancel it on your end without repercussions, the facilities at times will find reason to cancel yours.  It may come down to "we are just not comfortable with their skills" or "we just don't feel they fit in".  Both of these seem quite lame in reasoning.  The bottom line is that you do have the right to prove your skills and you do have the right to talk to them regarding how you "don't fit in".  But frequently, the reality is that they are not a good fit for you and you are not for them.  Most contractors move on with no bad scores on their record.    The facilities have the right in the end to say, "we will choose who we will pay to work with us".    We try to work with both the facility and you to come to an agreement in these situations.  But as in a "general contractor" on a construction project can say to his subcontractors..."no, you aren't what we want"...as a self employed individual, they have the right to do the same.    These situations come up rarely, but they do come up.  It is typically both the facility and the contractor that are wishing to end the agreement.
